Red River offers a valuable GAP insurance product —available with all our motorcycle loans.
Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) protects your investment in addition to your motorcycle.
Insurance policies cover the value of your motorcycle, which declines rapidly during the first few years of ownership. During this time, the amount you still owe on the motorcycle could be higher than its actual value. GAP covers this "gap."
So if your motorcycle is stolen or totaled in an accident but the insurance covers less than what you still owe, GAP covers the rest. GAP even covers your insurance deductible up to $500.
GAP is a non-insurance product and is made available via a loan/lease deficiency waiver that covers the "gap" between the vehicle's value and the amount you still owe.
GAP was designed for all drivers, whether you finance or lease a new or used vehicle. It can be used to cover automobiles, vans, light trucks, motorcycles, boats, travel trailers, motor homes, golf carts, jet skis, snowmobiles, and almost any other vehicle.
